Looking to celebrate your dog's birthday? I wanted to share a great cake recipe I cook up for my guys on their birthdays or any special occasion really, it's also super easy to make ♥ Please note candles are only placed on cake to take photos. Please don't serve up the cake with them on ♥
Prep time is only 15 minutes; with cooking time around 15 minutes. I divide the below mixture into 2 for both my small doggo's or make one for a larger doggo.
Ingredients
3 tbs refined coconut oil (melted)
2 tbs honey
3 eggs
1 3/4 cups of plain flour
Yoghurt for frosting (you can buy different brands specifically for doggo's in either Woolworths or Coles in Australia)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease 2 ramekin dishes
2. In a medium sized bowl, whisk the melted coconut oil, honey and eggs. Stir in the flour until totally absorbed.
3. Divide the mixture between the 2 ramekin dishes. Place in the heated oven and bake until golden brown and firm to touch in the centre, which should be 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Cool in the ramekin dishes for at least 5 minutes, then remove them, cutting in half. Finish off by decorating them with plain yoghurt.
